Corrections Policy
Last updated:
We work hard to get things right. When we don’t, we correct the record quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Email corrections@acyclovir1.com with the headline or link of the story, the error you found and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information.
What happens next
An editor reviews every request. If we confirm a factual error, we fix the story and add a note at the end explaining what changed and when.
Types of changes
- Corrections fix factual errors, such as a wrong name, date, number or quote.
- Clarifications add context when a story was accurate but could be misunderstood.
- Updates add new information to a developing story. These are marked with an “Updated” time near the byline.
We do not quietly remove published stories. In rare cases, such as a legal or safety concern, an editor may unpublish a story and will explain why when possible.
